Our history group joined the u3a in October 2022, having been with the WEA for the previous twelve years. By the end of our spring 2024 sessions we had covered over 150 topics, chosen mainly from the nineteenth century to the present day, which might suggest that something is going right!.

Group members volunteer to introduce a subject that interests them, which invariably prompts questions and lively discussion. No special knowledge is needed. All that is required is a questioning mind and an interest in history.
