French Conversation - Intermediate

Meeting	The group meets each second, third and fourth Tuesday of the month between 10:00 - 11:30.

An informal refresher course for people who have studied French at school a long time ago (or even a very long time ago).

Earlier this year we decided to use a book 'Facon de parler', to give members an opportunity to catchup if they miss a meeting, to provide more structure to the learning, and an opportunity to hear other French native speakers through the use of CDs.

French Conversation - Advanced

Meeting	The group meets each first and third Tuesday morning of the month between 10:00 - 11:30

The advanced group is aimed people with a very good command of French. The meetings are informal and fun, but there is also an opportunity to work hard through a variety of topics, all discussed in French.

The current year's topics covered favourite brands (after studying an article on the origins of Lacoste), music, the life of Saint Exupery, le Facteur Cheval and of course D-Day and it's 80th anniversary.

Unfortunately the groups are not suitable for total beginners, who would find it too difficult.
