The group discusses the meaning of feminism, its history, the current challenges and opportunities. Can we move towards a workforce that utilises the talents of the whole population - and an egalitarian society, at ease with itself?

The Feminist Group has continued to grow and explore a variety of relevant issues, including the failure of Employers to abide by the 2010 Equality Act (notably equal pay and maternity rights), the increase in the number of rape cases with the worrying diminishing number of prosecutions. We have actively debated and followed the ongoing the high profile debates around biological sex, gender and invasion of female only spaces by trans women.

We have continued to meet on a regular basis, increasing our numbers. We have discussed the sadly ongoing global issues that continue to assail women, not least of all those reported in both Afghanistan and Iran.

You will be very welcome to join us. We can promise some interesting discussions!
