Our programme for 2024 has provided our members with a varied range of topics –

January - Tom Oliver of Ocle Pychard gave a comprehensive explanation of cider and perry production by his Company

February - Dr Dennis Williams’ talk was about the development of air radar in Worcestershire

March - our group member Alan Welch spoke on the subject of 'Variable Stars in Astronomy' followed by a Q&A session

April - a presentation by a STEM Ambassador,

May - our group member Hugh Wakeling on how to successfully manage large engineering projects

June - Roger Workman, Chairman of Cotteswold Dairy

July - Tim Skinner told us about 'Life at the bottom of the Seas'.

August - the Group takes a break

For the remainder of 2024 we have :

a retired RAF Pilot telling us 'WIWOL' (When I Was On Lightnings); a site visit to ABE Ltd Logistics Ledbury

and lastly a talk by our group member John Campbell explaining 'Why Metals Break'.

We are in the process of putting together a programme for 2025 and we have the capacity for up to half a dozen new members. If you wish to join, please contact the leader as above.
