We maintain a list of the big issues of the day as suggested by members and vote each month on which one to discuss. Recent topics have been Multiculturalism, Proportional Representation, Overdiagnosis and nationalism v Globalism. Our list ranges from the topical "The Future of the Royal Family" to the ambitious "How can the Human Race be persuaded to behave well enough to avoid extinction".

We are particularly pleased to have new members with very different backgrounds. In fact if we all agree on a topic, we are disappointed. Often a member has specialist knowledge of the chosen topic and will lead the discussion.

We enjoy exchanging ideas and learning more about each issue.
