We are a small, friendly group of walkers who walk at a good pace whilst still enjoying the beautiful countryside. Hills and stiles are not (usually) a problem! Walks are generally 5 to 6 miles and are led by members. Brief details are emailed to group members a few days before each walk so that members can decide whether it is suitable for them.

What makes a walk memorable? Clearly (weather permitting) it is the vistas and features of the landscape, flora and fauna. I encountered a memorable description this year, “Saunter beneath the umbrageous trees” – how luxurious. But what makes it most memorable are your companions on the walk and they don’t come any finer than those in Walking Group 2. Why not risk it and come with us?
