We bridge the gap between the Short Walking Group and Walking Group 1, so we walk between 3 and 4 miles at an easy pace.

We walk locally and sometimes travel up to 30 minutes away by car to vary the walks.

The Short Walks Plus Group had another enjoyable walking season - the year certainly flew by! Our recent walks have included:

• around Queenswood, with bluebells and a woodpecker
• a circular walk from Weston's Cider Mill
• the Poets Path 1 around Dymock
• around Linton, admiring the animal sculptures

We take it in turns to lead walks.

This group is growing in numbers, but we still welcome new walkers.
